Una serie de asesinatos apuntan a varios musicos. Todas las victimas eran antiguos miembros de una academia de musica dirigida por un famoso pianista. Se abre un salon de conciertos para la musica hecha por ese pianista y Conan y otros fueron invitados a su abertura. La caracteristica principal del concierto era los tonos de "Bach trembled", un tipo de musica tocado con el organo de pipa, el famoso violin "Stradivarius", y la voz perfecta de una vocalista. Sin embargo, comienzan a suceder muchos incidentes sospechosos durante el concierto. Conan y otros invitados visitan el concierto en el dia del estreno, pero ocurre una repentina y enorme explosion en el salon de conciertos, rodeando el lugar de enormes llamas.
