Andrew, Matt y Steve son adolescentes, cada uno con una personalidad distinta que enfrenta retos derivados de estar cursando la preparatoria. Son imperfectos y un poco irresponsables. Están obsesionados con narrar sus vidas, sin importar cuán mundanas sean o, en su caso, sin importar cuán extraordinaria. Cuando Andrew, Matt y Steve se tropiezan con algo que va más allá de su comprensión, adquieren poderosas habilidades de telequinesis. Son capaces de hacer cualquier cosa, pero después las cosas se tornan sombrías cuando sus nuevas fuerzas los rebasan a ellos mismos.
