A la edad de ocho años, Klishina empezó a practicar el voleibol, y a los trece cambió su preferencia por el atletismo en la especialidad del salto de longitud, gracias a la influencia de su padre, un ex atleta. Para el año 2007, conquistó el primer lugar en el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil de Atletismo, que tuvo lugar en Ostrava, con una marca de 6,47 m (+1,3).
El 2010, se ubicó en el quinto puesto del Campeonato Mundial de Atletismo en Pista Cubierta con un registro de 6,62 m, y el siguiente año se agenció la medalla de oro del Campeonato Europeo de Atletismo en Pista Cubierta con marca de 6,80 m. También llegó a la final del Campeonato Mundial de Daegu, y terminó en séptimo lugar con una marca de 6,50 m.
En el año 2012, participó en el campeonato mundial de pista cubierta de Estambul, y se ubicó en la cuarta posición en la ronda final (6,85 m).
