Juego de acción en tercera persona, en el que encarnaremos a Marcus Fénix, un combatiente de la resistencia contra los “Locusts”, unos siniestros seres del planeta Sera. Gears of War utiliza el Unreal Engine 3.0, lo que le permite conseguir un portentoso apartado gráfico con animaciones muy realistas.
