A Mert & Marcus (Mert Alas y Marcus Piggott) no les falta trabajo. Según dicen, han gestionado más de 1.000 proyectos en un año entre editoriales y publicidad, tanto en Nueva York como en Londres y París, que es donde tienen oficinas.

Este par de dos ni siquiera iban para fotógrafos. El primero nacido en Turquía, el segundo en Gales. El primero iba para músico, y el segundo, este si ya más encaminado, para diseñador gráfico.
Se conocieron en el 94 en Inglaterra, se cayeron bien y vieron que se complementaban, así que se embarcaron en esto de la fotografía (Marcus había estado de asistente de un fotógrafo y contaba con algo de experiencia para moverse en este mundillo) y presentaron sus trabajos a “Dazed and Confused”, una revista de moda en Londres que no tardó en hacerlos portada.

A partir de ahí, bueno, Vogue, Luis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Lancôme... y famosos como Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Linda Evangelista, Gisele Bündchen, Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson, Kylie Minogue, los Beckham... Un no parar vamos...
