Spoiler: Los sobrevivientes se preparan para irse deAtlanta luego de que sus dos últimos asilos los redujeran en número y pusieran en peligro sus vidas. Sin embargo, el viaje se retrasa cuando Sophia se pierde en la zona y Carl cae accidentalmente herido por un balazo de parte de un cazador llamado Otis. Afortunadamente la casa de Otis está cerca, donde Hershel Greene, el patriarca de la familia, ayuda a salvar la vida de Carl.
Negándose a abandonar a una desaparecida Sophia, Rick lidera al grupo para buscar a la niña, mientras se quedan en la granja de los Green. No obstante, esa familia parece ocultarles algo, y es que esconden caminantes en un granero, de lo cual Gleen se percata y avisa al resto del grupo. Shane, con la ayuda de más del campamento, matan a todos los caminantes escondidos y terminan con todo, al final Sophia aparece como un zombi y Rick la mata.
