- Sinopsis de la película:
Aquí os dejamos esta precuela del conocido film de 1982 de John Carpenter que nos lleva a observar la
belleza aterradora de un continente extraordinario, la Antártida, sirve de telón de fondo para una misión
científica. Un descubrimiento que abre posibilidades inimaginables se convierte en una lucha por la
supervivencia cuando un grupo de investigadores internacionales descubre a un alienígena. La criatura tiene la habilidad de cambiar de forma a voluntad y convertirse en la copia perfecta de cualquier ser humano.
La paleontóloga Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) ha viajado a la desolada región para hacer realidad su sueño. Se une a un equipo noruego que ha encontrado accidentalmente una nave extraterrestre enterrada en el hielo, y descubre un organismo que parece haber muerto en la colisión hace miles de años. Pero está a punto de despertar?
Un sencillo experimento libera al alienígena de su cárcel de hielo. Kate y Carter (Joel Edgerton), el piloto
de la expedición, unirán sus fuerzas para impedir que la criatura mate a los miembros del equipo uno a uno.
