Andrea, una mujer que trabaja como piloto en un avión de pasajeros, sufre un incidente durante un vuelo por culpa de una tormenta. Supendida de su trabajo por no haber seguido las instrucciones de la torre de control, Andrea tendrá que demostrar a la junta directiva de las líneas aéreas que hizo lo correcto. Con su carrera amenazada, se ve en la situación de buscar por propia iniciativa las causas de la tormenta.
