Mixing and mastering suite of mine, No bullshit here. My picks over the years as a analog Sound Engineer at a all analog Studio in Brooklyn. We use the Studer A-820 given to the Studio by Les Paul years ago. The Bossman doesnt do digital, but if used correctly, all of these plugins can match the Studer or any high quality reel 2 reel when recording at 24 bit 96 k or better. A lot of these plugins are great for inserts, but there are plenty of mixing and mastering plugins ! You will figure it out ! My advice is to get any hardware that has AKM converters and a solid state reference monitor setup for the cleanest, live feel. Which is what everyone I assume is aiming for. Stay away from M-Box and Creative Labs ! Spend the money and get quality recording gear ! Your music will thank you along with the digital plugins you are using, they will just stand out so you can fully hear and understand how and what and when to use what, and folks listening will hear ! Little tip ! Use the RSO Extreme Punch as insert one on the Master out and then use the Nomad Factory British 72 Equalizer on the second insert. Then Turn the bass to - 12 DB on the Equalizer at 33 hz and wa la a fat analog sound, then try the HD SIR2 reverb and Stereoizer 3 after for imaging. And mix tracks from there ! And always leave the Master out fader at 0 DB and never use compression on the Master out !!!!!!!!!!
For vocals mess around with the FET Compressor along side with Reverberate !
