SINOPSIS
Un sargento (Aaron Eckhart) patrulla con sus hombres por las calles de Los Ángeles. En la noche del 24 al 25 de febrero de 1942, cuando en Estados Unidos se vivía en estado de alerta tras el bombardeo de Pearl Harbor, el sonido de las sirenas que anunciaban una incursión aérea despertó a la población. La brigada costera de artillería respondió al ataque disparando contra las naves que sobrevolaban Santa Mónica, que, sorprendentemente, no sufrieron ningún daño. Aunque este hecho nunca se ha explicado oficialmente, existen, al parecer, documentos gubernamentales que registran las discrepancias entre distintos expertos militares sobre lo ocurrido.
