Mac OS X hoy celebra ídem cantidad de años

A algunos les cambió la vida, a otros no les interesa y otros lo odian porque sí, pero el hecho innegable es que hoy se cumplen 10 años desde el lanzamiento de la primera versión oficial del Mac OS X, y el primero en recibir el nombre de código de algún felino de gran tamaño: “Cheetah”.
Después del experimental y poco conocido A/UX, fue el segundo sistema operativo de Apple basado en Unix (de ahí que su numeración cambiara de arábica a romana) e inicialmente trajo varios dolores de cabeza a la compañía por la falta de varias características y problemas de uso. Pero de todas formas fue considerado un buen inicio y rápidamente fue mejorando.

Posteriormente vinieron pumas, jaguares, panteras, tigres, leopardos (también de nieve) y ya viene en camino la manada de leones. Todos muy esperados y celebrados al salir de cacería.
Pero ayer fue un día raro en Apple. ¿Estarán celebrando de igual forma? Debieran, porque X años no se cumplen todos los días…
Ahora, ¿es para ti el mejor sistema operativo actualmente? Sin uñas ni dientes, por favor.
