Una serie de extraños sucesos están ocurriendo en Ciudad K, en donde monstruos estan convirtiendo a las personas en momias. Shimura Tokio es el responsable de defender a esta ciudad del ataque de los "yomas" utilizando el poder que alberga en su ojo izquierdo y que se ha traspasado de generación en generación en su familia: El poder de congelar el tiempo.

Pero este poder no es completamente suyo, en su ojo izquierdo alberga, y que tiene a su servicio, al yoma mas temido del inframundo: Catoblepas.
