Sinopsis

La acción transcurre en un lugar llamado Astraea Hill, en este lugar hay tres institutos para chicas; la Academia St. Miatre, la Academia St. Spica y finalmente la Academia St. Le Rim. Y después esta la casa de alojamiento común para los tres institutos "Ichigo-Sha".

Nagisa Aoi acaba de ser transferida al cuarto grado (seria el primer año senior) de la Academia St. Miatre después de la muerte de su madre. En su primer día ella conoce a Shizuma Hanazono quien también asiste a St Miatre y es conocida por el nombre de "Etoile", el nombre por el cual se conoce a quien es la líder de todas las estudiantes de las tres escuelas y es muy admirada. Tiene mucho poder y confianza puesta en ella que al mismo tiempo debe cargar con una responsabilidad y deber acorde a tal poder.

Aoi Nagisa es una alumna de primer curso de instituto que, al irse sus padres a vivir al extranjero, ha sido internada en el dormitorio de Astraea. El dormitorio acoge a alumnas de tres escuelas diferentes: la escuela St. Spica, la escuela femenina Le Rim y la escuela femenina St. Miatre.
Allí conoce a la representante de las tres escuelas, Hanazono Shizuma, también conocida como Étoile. Ésta es amada y respetada por todas las estudiantes de las tres escuelas. Ambas se conocen en un fascinante encuentro en el que Shizuma parece haberse enamorado a primera vista de Nagisa.
