Acerca del artista:
Desde que se graduó de Central St Martins en 2006, el enfoque ha sido explorar cómo el avance tecnológico está afectando a la sociedad. A lo largo de la historia, la información siempre ha sido grabada en los objetos físicos. Los documentos importantes, canciones favoritas, videos y más se almacenaban en las montañas de cintas, polaroids, casetes y discos. Como los medios de comunicación se absorbe rápidamente en el World Wide Web, la rica variedad de formatos del pasado están quedando obsoletas.

Esto representa un gran cambio de distancia de los objetos físicos del mundo real, conduciendo hacia una existencia humana, que es en última instancia regida por miles de millones de archivos de datos intangibles. Esta versión de la información de la forma física permite que los datos personales y las identidades de ahora se revela infinitamente y compartir en línea. Al mismo tiempo, muchos de nosotros consideramos la individualidad y la privacidad a ser más valioso que nunca. Se los seres humanos para siempre compatible con nuestra propia tecnología?

Cada disco utiliza en las pinturas tiene una historia y su propia historia. Representa el ritmo creciente del ciclo de la vida moderna, donde los objetos se crean, utilizan y eliminan más rápido que nunca. Para desafiar esta idea, ya que estos objetos personales de la vida se echan a un lado, lo obsoleto se da ahora una nueva vida y un renovado propósito de utilizarlos como un medio para el arte.
