Wikimedia Commons es un proyecto de la Fundación Wikimedia, la misma que dirige Wikipedia. Su objetivo es servir como espacio para resguardar imágenes y otros formatos multimedia que hayan sido liberados bajo licencia libres o que se encuentren en el dominio público. Las imágenes allí encontradas pueden ser libremente usadas por cualquiera y de acuerdo a la licencia GNU pueden ser copiadas, redistribuidas, modificadas e incluso vendidas siempre y cuando el material se mantenga bajo los términos de esta misma licencia.

Si estas fotografias no fueran como las bandas sonoras de Hollywood un cliche de adorno para el pc asi como cliches musicales en las peliculas que diferente seria esto y serian valorados.
