Judas Priest dice adiós después de 40 años de carrera.

Después de más cuarenta años llevando su música a todos los rincones del planeta, Judas Priest, una de las bandas más influyentes de la historia del heavy metal, han anunciado que en 2011 realizarán su última gira antes de separarse.

Según adelantan en su página web oficial, esta gira llevará por nombre 'Epitaph Tour' y pasará por las mayores ciudades de mundo. Allí sonarán las canciones que han ayudado a que la formación británica sea "sinónimo de heavy metal".

Este tour mundial empezará en junio en Europa, donde la banda ya tiene una serie de festivales confirmados en Suecia, Finlandia, Dinamarca, Francia, Italia, Bélgica, Reino Unido y Alemania. No hay, por tanto, fechas confirmadas aún para España.

La formación actual de la banda está liderada por el vocalista Rob Halford, quien ha sido su cara más reconocible no durante toda su existencia, pero sí durante la mayor parte de estos cuarenta años, K.K. Downing (guitarras desde 1968), Glenn Tipton (guitarras y teclados), Ian Hill (bajista desde el inicio) y Scott Travis (baterista).

After storming the world for nearly 40 years and taking their very special brand of heavy metal to all four corners of the planet, JUDAS PRIEST - one of the most influential heavy metal bands of all time, have announced this will be their final world tour!!
However, the mighty PRIEST will certainly be going out strong as they rock the planet starting in 2011 on the massive EPITAPH tour - hitting all the major cities throughout the world they will be playing the songs that helped make the name JUDAS PRIEST synonymous with heavy metal!
With all guns blazing and amps cranked to eleven, the band will be giving all their fans one last chance to witness the ultimate metal experience that is JUDAS PRIEST!
JUDAS PRIEST will be starting their world tour in Europe - we have just confirmed the following festivals for 2011 -

11th June Sauna Festival, Finland
17th June Copenhell Festival, Copenhagen, Denmark

Después de asaltar el mundo durante casi 40 años y teniendo su marca muy especial de heavy metal detodos los rincones del planeta, JUDAS PRIEST - una de las bandas más influyentes del metal pesado detodos los tiempos, han anunciado esta será su última gira mundial! !
Sin embargo, el sacerdote poderoso sin duda será salir fuertes como rocas del planeta a partir de 2011en la gran gira EPITAFIO - golpeando todas las grandes ciudades en todo el mundo en el que tocará las canciones que ayudaron a que el nombre de JUDAS PRIEST sinónimo de heavy metal !
Con todas las armas de fuego ardiente y amplificadores de manivela a once, la banda va a dar todos susfans una última oportunidad para presenciar la experiencia de metal que en definitiva es JUDAS PRIEST!
