Turbo C++ es un entorno de desarrollo integrado y compilador para el lenguaje de programación C++ de Borland. Se introdujo por primera vez en 1987 y se destaca por su entorno de desarrollo integrado, pequeño tamaño, muy rápida velocidad de compilación, manuales y de bajo precio.

Si vas a comenzar a aprender el lenguaje C/C++ , por lo tanto vas a necesitar un compilador la mayoría de personas en colegios universidades ,etc utilizan el compilador Turbo , pero si alguna ves has usado este programa hay varias versiones lo mas usado era la versión 3.0 pero tiene muchas desventajas por no ser compatible con XP o Vista, en cambio la version 4.5 es compatible incluso con Windows 7.
