Spencer Tunick, fotógrafo estadounidense nacido en Middletown (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/Middletown) (Nueva York) (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/Condado_de_Orange_(Nueva_York)) el 1 de enero de 1967 (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/1967). Obtuvo una titulación en Ciencias por el Emerson College (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/Emerson_College) en 1988 (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/1988).
Es muy conocido por sus fotografías de grandes masas de personas desnudas (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/Desnudo) dispuestas en artísticas formaciones a menudo situadas en localizaciones urbanas y conocidas como Instalaciones (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/Instalaci%C3%B3n_art%C3%ADstica). Surgen de estas imágenes una serie de tensiones entre los conceptos de lo público y lo privado, lo tolerado y lo prohibido o lo individual y lo colectivo.
Expansión
Tunick comenzó en el año 1992 (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/1992) fotografiando personas desnudas por las calles de Nueva York (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/Nueva_York). Sus fotos rápidamente se hicieron populares y decidió ampliar su trabajo por otros estados de Norteamérica (http://www.denunciando.com/wiki/Norteam%C3%A9rica), en su proyecto denominado Naked States (Estados desnudos).
