Tommy acaba de salir de la cárcel y busca una segunda oportunidad en su vida. Se muda con su hermana Viki, su cínico esposo Ed y toda su familia. El problema llega cuando su abuela le pregunta dónde estuvo los últimos años. Su hermana Viki sale del paso y afirma que estuvo en Francia.
