INSTALLING ZBRUSH 3.5r3

After your download, run the installer executable. You will be guided through installation of ZBrush 3.5r3. If your system lacks the necessary C redistributable from Microsoft, this will install first, then move automatically into the ZBrush installation. This installer automatically sets up necessary permissions for network environments and Windows Vista/7 users. It should be executed by an administrator, who should also activate ZBrush. (See below.) Once installed and activated by an administrator, ZBrush can be run by any user on that computer.

ZBrush 3.5r3 includes the full suite of official Pixologic plugins. These are normally installed automatically. If you choose a Custom installation, ZBrush will allow you to specify which plugins are installed. Even if you didn't choose a Custom installation you can later add or remove plugins at any time. This is done by going to the Add/Remove Programs section of your Windows Control panel. Select ZBrush from the list of installed programs, then click the Modify button found at the top of the list. The installer will ask which plugins you would like to change, then will make the requested modifications to your ZBrush installation.

It is recommended that you temporarily disable any antivirus software prior to installing and activating ZBrush. Such programs can interfere with the proper installation or prevent the license files from being created correctly. After activation, you can and should enable such software again. Also, for Windows Vista or Windows 7 users, please do not activate XP compatibility mode as doing so would interfere with ZBrush's licensing.

The documentation for ZBrush 3.5R3 is now included with the program and automatically installed with any Standard installation. In your ZBrush 3.5 R3 folder you will find the "ZBrush_3.5_new_features.pdf" and "ZBrush_3.5_tutorials.pdf".

Windows Recommended:

OS: Windows XP SP2/Vista
CPU: Pentium D or newer (or equivalent such as AMD Athlon 64 X2 or newer) with optional multithreading or hyperthreading capabilities
RAM: 2048MB (4096MB for working with multi-million-poly meshes)
Monitor: 1280x1024 monitor resolution or higher (32 bits)

Minimum System Requirements:

OS: Windows 2000/XP SP2
CPU: P4 or AMD Opteron or Athlon64 Processor (Must have SSE2 : Streaming SIMD Extensions 2)
RAM: 1024MB (2048 MB recommended)
Monitor: 1024x768 monitor resolution (32 bits)

Install Note:

1. install ZB 3.5 r3 without plugs
2. rename the Zbrush.exe in the new ZB 3.5r3 folder to somethink else like Zbrush.exe.bak
3. delete your SplashDatat folder in ZData\ZPlugs\
4. Go to your Fressum relase ZB 3.5 r2 folder and copy the Zbrush.exe to the ZB 3.5r3 folder
5. Do the same for the SplashData folder from R2 and copy it to the ZData\ZPlugs\ folder
6. Run the exe and click on liecens. key will apear and say its now activated or something else
7. delete Zbrush.exe (the one from R2) and rename the old one back in Zbrush.exe
8. download plugs and instal manualy

Instalación Nota:

1. instalar ZB 3,5 r3 sin tapones
2. cambiar el nombre del Zbrush.exe en la nueva carpeta para ZB 3.5r3 somethink más como Zbrush.exe.bak
3. eliminar la carpeta en SplashDatat ZData ZPlugs \ \
4. Vaya a su Fressum relase ZB 3,5 r2 carpeta y copie el Zbrush.exe a la carpeta ZB 3.5r3
5. Haga lo mismo con la carpeta SplashData de R2 y copiarlo a la carpeta ZData \ ZPlugs \
6. Ejecute el exe y haga clic en liecens. Aparecerá el clave y decir su activará o alguna otra cosa
