El Proyecto VADER [Archivo]

Desde el 2007 un grupo de artistas es convocado anualmente para experimentar sobre el famoso casco de Anakin Skywalker (posteriormente Darth Vader) para crear versiones nuevas del mismo, ya sea agregando o quitando piezas, mezclando materiales o pintando sobre la superficie del mismo. Los artistas han logrado crear verdaderas obras de arte sobre uno de los íconos mas populares de nuestra cultura, es como si repentinamente se levantara un ejercito de clones de nuestro villano favorito, solo que cada clon viste un uniforme diferente.
Como este es el último año del Vader Project, después de una exhibición de 10 días en Los Ángeles (del 12 al 20 de junio) los 100 cascos harán un último viaje a Filadelfia para ser puestos en subasta por la famosa casa de subastas Freeman’s. La verdad muchas de las creaciones son excelentes piezas de colección por lo que no dudamos que alcancen precios exorbitantes
