medicina INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Install the game.
2) Run AssassinsCreedII.EXE (let it update, install 1.1 update)
3. Exit the updater.
4) Edit /windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts with notepad as administrator (right click on notepad and ‘run as administrator’
5) Add the following to hosts (install instructions and the png did not seem to be correct for me, I added this)

127.0.0.1 static3.cdn.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 onlineconfigservice.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 orbitservice.ubi.com
127.0.0.1 orbit-savegames.s3.amazonaws.com
127.0.0.1 ubisoft-orbit.s3.amazonaws.com
127.0.0.1 ubisoft-orbit-savegames.s3.amazonaws.com

6) Save and close hosts in notepad.
7) Open hosts again in notepad to verify it saved the changed. (sounds repetitive, but it is for a public retard check.
Open up a Command Prompt (start/programs/accessories/command prompt)
9) Type ipconfig /flushdns (you will get the message Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
10) Extract the DRM-AC2.RAR file somewhere and go into the DRM folder.
11) Right click on server.exe and ‘run as administrator’
12) Run AssassinsCreedII.EXE
13) Type 123456789/123456789 as the login and pass and hit the play button.
14) A popup will say it is trying to sync your saved game and fail. On the top right hand corner there are two buttons. Click the left one and it will ask you if you want to save your saved games locally. Do it. It will say that you need to restart the launcher for it to take affect.
15) Exit the launcher and rerun AssassinsCreedII.EXE
16) Type in the same login/pass as before and wala.

P.S..Enter anything for user & pass after you run the game!


To those having the "An internet connection is required" -error:
1. Click Star > All Programs > Accessories>> right-click Notepad, and then click Run
as administrator.
2. Open the Hosts file (C: Windows System32 drivers etc) and add these entries:

then click Save on the Edit menu. If using Windows 7, you will need to click Save on
the File menu.
Then run "ipconfig /flushdns" in command prompt
if this still don't fix it, then delete the hosts file and create a new one as shown here
