Behemoth es una banda de polonia fundada en el año de 1991, por el unico miembro permanente de la banda Adam "Nergal" Darski.

Sus primeros trabajos son discos de black metal tradicional con ciertas similitudes a los primeros albums de Emperor y Satyricon.

Para el disco de "Pandemonic Incantations" empezaron a tomar un rumbo ligeramente diferente agregando ciertas estructuras del death metal a su música, así mismo como aumentando considerablemente la calidad de producción y mostrando una mayor técnica a la hora de tocar los instrumentos.

Pero el verdadero cambio fue en el disco "Satanica" donde entran totalmente a esta mezcla genial entre el death y el black que pocas veces se había visto, la técnica demoledora del death metal combinada con la obscuridad demoníaca del black metal crearon este monstruo impresionante que a inspirado a muchas otras bandas.

Y de aquí en adelante lo único que han hecho es seguirnos sorprendiendo con discos cada vez mas agresivos y técnicos que dejan en ridículo a muchas otras bandas que tocan estilos similares.

Behemoth a impuesto un estandard de calidad que no todos pueden alcanzar, es que simplemente tienen todo lo que podrías buscar en un grupo de este tipo, riffs de guitarra infernalmente pesados con cierta melodía en ellos, la batería aplastante que usa el doble bombo a todo lo que den las piernas y la voz que es brutalmente genial, seguramente si los demonios cantaran sonarían como "Nergal".

Aaahhh parce se paso ... Excelente aporte , behemoth es una de mis bandas favoritas y bacano encontrar encontrar un topic tan completo sobre ellos ... Claro que para los que somos fans de esta banda esto ya es cultura general .

Claro aun no es confirmado; pero segun nelson varela propietario y empresario de sylphorium records bogota es muy posible que los manes vuelvan para el proximo año ...
