El Earthrace es una especie de yate de 2,4 metros de altura y ocho metros de ancho , que tiene un aspecto “alienigena”. Este “barco” es famoso no solo por la apariencia rara que tiene, sino porque se convirtio en la embarcacion de motor mas rapida del mundo, al conseguir el record Guiness despues de dar la vuelta al mundo en menos de 60 dias.

Los motores funcionan completamente con combustible biodiesel , el cual se obtiene principalmente a partir de grasa animal, soja, u otras formas.

Esta joya tiene un costo aproximado de 2,5 millones de dolares , financiado principalmente por “generosos” patrocinadores.
