Paige no fue una niña que le gustara aprender danza, sino que se inclinó por el gimnasio para conocer el boxeo, y más tarde, se comprometió con las artes marciales mixtas.
Debutó en este deporte extremo en 2012, siendo cinturón azul en el jiu-jitsu brasileño. Llegó al UFC en diciembre del 2013, al abrirse la división femenil de los pesos Mínimo, y su primera pelea en este organismo fue una vitoria ante Kailin Curran en noviembre pasado. La joven de 21 años enfrentará mañana a la experimentada Felice Herring (23-5).
