Pasó de vivir en una casa móvil con su papá y tres hermanos en su infancia, a viajar para hacer lo que más ama.
De espíritu aventurero, Sierra Quitiquit se ha abierto paso en el mundo de los deportes extremos, algo que combina con el modelaje. Incluso, el año pasado salió una película autobiográfica de la también surfista, llamada "How Did I Get Here" (Cómo llegué aquí), en la que se narran sus aventuras por lugares como Nueva Zelanda, Patagonia, Utah, Japón y Alaska
