DeNunCianDo - Le Cumplió la Promesa en el Funeral

Este es el funeral del soldado Kevin Elliott, que fue asesinado durante un combate con los talibanes en Afganistán. La ceremonia se llevó a cabo en Dundee, Escocia. Su mejor amigo Barry Delaney llevaba un vestido verde en honor a un acuerdo hace mucho tiempo que si uno de ellos muere, el otro tiene que usar un vestido de color verde brillante al funeral.
Barry dijo:

"Kev era como mi hermano - que habría hecho cualquier cosa por los demás.
Nos dijo que quien murió primero, el otro tenía que usar un vestido rosado con manchas verdes en el funeral - y nos estrechamos en él. Fue sobre todo su idea y cuanto más pienso en ello, Kevin, estoy seguro de que algo iba a suceder.
Busqué el vestido exacto, pero no pude encontrar uno en cualquier lugar.
Finalmente me cogió el verde en Primark y comprar los calcetines pop rosa para que se vea aún más tonto. Es lo que Kev hubiera querido.
Kev dijo a su familia sobre el pacto, así que no podía echar para atrás. Tuve unas palabras con él a la tumba y le preguntó si le gustaba el color - Estoy seguro de que podía oír la risa que sale de la tierra.
Kev era un verdadero héroe y alguien me siento orgulloso de llamar a mi mejor amigo ".

This is the funeral of Private Kevin Elliott who was killed during a battle with the Taliban in Afghanistan. The ceremony was held in Dundee, Scotland. His best friend Barry Delaney wore a green dress to honor a long time agreement that if one of them dies, the other has to wear a bright green dress to the funeral.
Barry said:

“Kev was like my brother – we would have done anything for each other.
We said that whoever died first, the other one had to wear a pink dress with green spots to the funeral – and we shook on it. It was mainly his idea and the more I think about it, I’m sure Kevin knew something was going to happen.
I looked for the exact dress but couldn’t find one anywhere.
I eventually picked up the green one in Primark and bought the pink pop socks to make it look even sillier. It’s what Kev would have wanted.
Kev told his whole family about the pact, so I couldn’t back out. I had a word with him at the graveside and asked if he liked the color – I’m sure I could hear laughter coming out of the ground.
Kev was a true hero and someone I’m proud to call my best mate.”
