D’origine bulgare Albena est une jeune artiste française qui avance à pas fulgurants. Sa peinture est l’héritière de diverses traditions, dont celles des maîtres de l’icône, mais il faut se garder de l’assimiler au folklore. Puisant aux sources orientales, notamment l’Inde et la Perse, elle s’est crée un monde d’une troublante féerie qui exerce sur l’œil une véritable fascination, tant ses couleurs, ardentes y créent l’enchaînement.
