A. Andrew Gonzales, di San Antonio, Texas, è un pluripremiato artista figurativo il cui lavoro è stato esposto in diversi paesi. Nato il 13 ottobre 1963 e cresciuto in una famiglia creativa, Andrew ha affrontato l'arte in gran parte da autodidatta.
Suo padre, l'artista Anthony A. Gonzales, ha incoraggiato il suo precoce interesse per il disegno e la pittura, ma senza dargli alcuna formazione formale.
Nel 2000, Andrew Gonzales ha avuto il grande privilegio di collaborare strettamente con il noto artista Fantastic-Realist Ernst Fuchs nel Principato di Monaco e in Austria.
I dipinti di Gonzales sono creati con l'aerografo acrilico su tavola o tela.
Le forme e i tratti principali delle sue opere sono creati col sollevamento del pigmento usando una gomma abrasiva, seguito poi dall'applicazione di strati trasparenti di pigmento.
Influenzato dall'idealismo mistico, così come da tradizioni visionarie ed esoteriche, l'artista descrive il suo lavoro come arte contemporanea Tantrica o Trasfigurativa, che esplora l'unione drammatica della sensualità e della spiritualità.
