Raquel Pomplun, primera mexicana que logró consagrarse como Playmate del año [Archivo]

Raquel Pomplun cursa la carrera de Ingeniera Bioquímica en la Universidad de California.

Mientras continúa el revuelo por los videos de la "estudiante hot de la UCA", Analissa Santi, otra universitaria fue elegida como la chica Playboy del año.

Se trata de Raquel Pomplun, una joven de 25 años que se encuentra cursando la carrera de Ingeniería Bioquímica de la Universidad de California.

Además de sorprender por ser una estudiante, ella es la primera mexicana que logró consagrarse como Playmate del año en la edición de la revista en Estados Unidos.

"No tengo palabras para describir lo emocionada que estoy de recibir este honor y que me den la oportunidad de representar a Playboy como su primera Playmate del año mexicana-americana. Playboy me enseñó un lado de mí misma que desconocía. Ha sido un año de maravillosas sorpresas", aseguró Raquel, en un comunicado.

La "Conejita", que deslumbró en abril de 2012 en la edición "Sexo y Música", junto al cantante Bruno Mars, recibió como premio 100.000 dólares y un automóvil Jaguar F-TYPE. Además, tiene un programa de radio y uno de televisión y será la portada del mes de junio de la revista con una amplia entrevista de 8 páginas y una producción de fotos realizada por Michael Bernard.
