La actriz madrileña Esmeralda Rose ha anunciado, a través de su web, que abandonará el mundo del porno el próximo 1 de septiembre, Esmeralda desea iniciar una nueva etapa vital por "otros caminos que me provean de expectativas de futuro más amplias", según su propia confesión.
A punto de cumplir 23 años, Esmeralda Rose deja el porno cuando se había convertido en una de las actrices más emblemáticas del panorama del entretenimiento para adultos en España. Fruto de ello es el contrato que la ligó en exclusiva a Actrices del Porno, un hecho que no sucedía en el porno español en los últimos cinco años, así como las portadas que protagonizó para las revistas Penthouse e Interviu. Esmeralda, sin embargo, asegura que, pese a su retirada, continuará haciendo apariciones en fiestas, discotecas, espectáculos y eventos."
