“Sucker Punch” es una fantasía de acción épica que nos lleva a la viva imaginación de una joven cuyo mundo de sueños le permite escapar de su oscura realidad. Sin limitaciones de tiempo y espacio, tiene la libertad para ir donde su mente la lleve, y sus increíbles aventuras borran la línea entre lo real y lo imaginario.

Ha sido encerrada contra su voluntad, pero Babydoll (Emily Browning) no ha perdido su deseo de sobrevivir. Decidida a luchar por su libertad, anima a otras cuatro chicas - la decidida Rocket (Jena Malone), la astuta Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), la implacablemente leal Amber (Jamie Chung) y la reacia Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish) - a unirse e intentar escapar de su terrible destino a manos de sus captores, Blue (Oscar Isaac), Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino) y High Roller (Jon Hamm).

Guiadas por Babydoll, las chicas entablan un combate fantástico contra todo, desde samurais a serpientes, con un arsenal virtual a su disposición. Juntas, deben decidir lo que están dispuestas a sacrificar para permanecer vivas. Pero con la ayuda de un Hombre Sabio (Scott Glenn) su increible viaje – si lo consiguen - las liberará.
