The Doors fue un grupo influyente del rock estadounidense, formado en Los Ángeles (California), en julio del año 1965 y disuelto en el año 1973, que junto con bandas como Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead y los mismos The Beatles, se convirtió en los máximos exponentes de la psicodelia de los años 60'. El grupo es considerado uno de los más influyentes en la historia del rock, y ha sido descrita como "una de las bandas más innovadoras y poderosas en la historia del rock".
