Sukhoi Pak Fa el Primer caza furtivo Ruso


Sukhoi Pak Fa será el primero de la 5 ª generación de supercazas Rusos.
Los Militares prometieron mostrar su primer prototipo en 2009 y para iniciar la producción en 2010.
Todavía no hay mucha información acerca de este jet, pero se dice que podría ser incluso mejor que el F-22 Raptor Norteamericano.
Esos graficos fueron hechos por el diseñador industrial ruso Aleksander Dultsev.
Lamentablemente, el verdadero Sukhoi Pak Fa suponemos, no sera tan lindo.

Los Tigres Voladores Los Tigres Voladores de Chennault eran un grupo de aviadores voluntarios que EEUU puso a disposición del gobierno chino para hacer frente al poderío japonés. Desde el estallido de la guerra entre ambos países orientales, hacia 1938, Japón hacía gala de un dominio aéreo completo, lo cual le permitía bombardear impunemente todo tipo de blancos.

EEUU encontró en estos atrevidos pilotos la forma de contribuir en una guerra que, oficialmente, no era la suya. Por varios meses, formaron el grupo de militares menos disciplinados y más llamativos en mucho tiempo.

Provenientes del Ejército, la Marina y los marines, como formaban parte de un grupo casi irregular, no estaban bajo mandato militar directo y por lo tanto relajaban algunas de las cuestiones marciales. Por ejemplo, usaban botas de vaquero en lugar de botas o zapatos militares. Eran casi mercenarios, cobrando una prima por cada avión enemigo derribado.

Se hicieron famosos entre los británicos y otras tropas más ordenadas al organizar todo tipo de fiestas hasta cualquier hora y pasársela con mujeres locales. Una vez convencieron al piloto de un carguero de volar hasta Hanoi (donde había una base japonesa) para bombardearla. Cargaron el avión con todo tipo de bombas capturadas (probablemente sin saber si funcioban o no), tanto chinas, rusas como francesas, y luego las lanzaron sobre el objetivo dándole patadas. Obviamente, estaban demasiado borrachos como para comprender el riesgo que corrían.

Como el grupo no estaba encuadrado directamente dentro de ninguna fuerza, tenían problemas de abastecimiento de todo tipo. Sus aviones eran obsoletos y las piezas de recambio escasas; tapaban los agujeros de los tanques de combustible con chicle y parcheaban los fuselajes dañados con cinta adhesiva. Se reutilizaba todo, hasta la tela de los paracaídas. Para mejorar la performance de sus lentos P-40 Tomahawk, se los recubría con cera, lo que supuestamente les daba 15 km/h adicionales. Se dice que los mecánicos, acostumbrados a esto, recorrían los bosques y plantaciones cercanas en las que habían caído aviones para tratar de recuperar cualquier pieza útil, ya fuera de apartos amigos o enemigos.

Como sus aviones eran cazas, cuando tenían que bombardear regresaban a los inicios de la aviación militar, lanzando botellas de whisky llenas de gasolina u otros dispositivos explosivos caseros con paracaídas robados de las bengalas de iluminación nocturna. Eventualmente algunos les agregaron portabombas ventrales para convertir al avión en un bombardero en picada.

A pesar de todas estas irregularidades, los Tigres no solo levantaron la moral china, sino que hicieron daño a los japoneses y, de rebote, entraron a la historia. Una de sus más vistosas contribuciones son las bocas de tiburón, el diseño que pintaban en el morro de sus aviones, y su emblema del tigre alado, diseñado por un dibujante de la Disney.

F-117 Nighthawk El Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk es un avión furtivo de ataque estadounidense. Su denominación F (Fighter) fue dada durante su periodo de pruebas, ya que debido a su estricto secreto, se seleccionaba a pilotos de caza como parte del nuevo grupo de vuelo, por lo que a pesar de ser un avión de ataque (A-117), terminó siendo conocido como un caza furtivo de la primera generación.

Eurofighter Typhoon El Eurofighter Typhoon es un caza polivalente de gran maniobrabilidad, propulsado por dos motores gemelos, diseñado y construido por el consorcio de empresas europeas Eurofighter GmbH, creado en 1983 y compuesto por las compañías EADS, BAE Systems y Alenia Aeronautica. Realizó su primer vuelo el 27 de marzo de 1994, entrando en servicio el 8 de abril de 2003 en la Luftwaffe alemana. Fue diseñado como caza de superioridad aérea para la Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos en la era de la Guerra Fría. Puede llevar a cabo todo tipo de misiones, tales como ataque a tierra o guerra electrónica. El primer prototipo, denominado YF-22, voló por primera vez el 29 de septiembre de 1990.

Dispone de los últimos adelantos tecnológicos, hasta el punto de haber eliminado todos los relojes analógicos de la cabina del piloto, presentando toda la información relevante en cuatro pantallas de CRT. Su extraña planta romboidal, junto con el recubrimiento de losetas con forma triangular, contribuyen a dificultar la detección del radar, dándole capacidad de baja detectabilidad. El avión es un bimotor turbofán dotado de empuje vectorial.

Las primeras unidades empezaron a ser puestas en operación en diciembre de 2005. La base aérea Hickman en Hawai es la más reciente en haber recibido un escuadrón de F-22, en marzo de 2006.

La Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos tiene planeado construir 183 F-22 para distribuirlos entre 7 escuadrones.

Historia


En su momento el F-22 compitió con el YF-23 fabricado por Northrop/McDonnell Douglas (voló por primera vez el 27 de agosto de 1990) para determinar cual podía ser el caza de superioridad aérea del siglo XXI. Como el ganador del concurso fue el F-22, el proyecto YF-23 fue abandonado y los dos prototipos del avión que se construyeron, se encuentran almacenados en la base Edwards de Estados Unidos.

No estoy de acuerdo con tu apreciación, ya que como tu mismo dices, los Nimitz son portaviones de propulsión nuclear (los mas grandes y de mayor capacidad de la U.S. Navy ) y los Ohio son submarinos balísticos nucleares (también son de propulsión nuclear y llevan misiles intercontinentales con cabezas nucleares).

En lo que no estoy de acuerdo es que los Nimitz sean los segundos mas poderosos del mar, ya que son categorías totalmente diferentes (estas comparando portaviones vs submarinos). Además, el poder que despliega un portaviones es impresionante, ya que los Nimitz llevan una amplia variedad de aviones para cualquier tipo de guerra ( aire - aire, aire - superficie, antisubmarina y guerra electrónica), eso, sin contar con que la escolta minima de un portaviones son dos cruceros o destructores AEGIS (cruceros clase Ticonderoga o destructores clase Arleigh Burke, capaces de llevar cada uno mas de 60 misiles antiaéreos de largo alcance "Standard" de aprox. 160 kms de alcance, misiles de crucero "Tomahawk" de aprox. 1.000 o más kms de alcance, 8 misiles antibuque "Harpoon" de aprox. 150 kms de alcance y torpedos) y 1 o 2 submarinos nucleares de ataque clase Los Angeles.

Los submarinos balisticos de la clase Ohio, hacen parte de lo que llaman "fuerza estratégica", debido a su armamento de misiles balísticos nucleares.

Teniendo en cuenta esto, uno puede considerar la idea de cual es el mas "poderoso" buque de guerra que hay en los mares actualmente. Ah, y eso solo hablando de la marina estadounidense, si tuvieramos en cuenta la abandonada marina Rusa, la cuestión es diferente.

Raycharles, la clasificación de barcos mas grandes, puede ser mas amplia de lo que crees, ya que puede ser un barco de guerra (portaviones, submarino, acorazado) o barco mercante, ya sea de carga o pasajeros. Hay barcos mercantes gigantescos, conocidos como Post Panamax (que son demasiado grandes para poder pasar por el canal de Panama).

Te doy una apreciación personal acerca de la discusión de cual puede ser el barco de guerra mas poderoso:

Los acorazados han sido los buques mas poderosos jamas construidos, debido a su tamaño, capacidad de fuego y su poderoso blindaje (planchas de acero de mas de 1 mt de espesor). Estos buques se usaron ampliamente en la II Guerra Mundial, Corea, Vietnam y hasta la Guerra del Golfo en 1991.

Actualmente, si es por armamento, sistemas de combate y tamaño, los buques mas poderosos (a mi concepto) son los cruceros clase Ticonderoga y los destructores clase Arleigh Burke. Un solo buque de estos, puede dar cuenta al mismo tiempode otros buques de guerra, una flotilla de aviones enemigos o submarinos, incluso de blancos en tierra.

Sin embargo, el portaviones gana el puesto por la capacidad de combate desarrollada por los aviones que transporta.

Cuando hablamos de bombas atómicas es inevitable pensar en las dos ciudades japonesas reducidas a escombros por los Estados Unidos al final de la Segunda guerra Mundial: Hiroshima y Nagasaki. Sin embargo, esas detonaciones solo marcaron el comienzo de una serie de pruebas que se extendió a lo largo de la Guerra Fría, y tanto EE.UU. como la ex-Unión Soviética jugaron a ver quién construía el artefacto más grande. El premio a la mayor detonación nuclear de la historia le corresponde sin dudas a La Bomba del Zar, una bomba atómica casi 4000 veces más potente que la arrojada sobre Hiroshima


Como si se tratase de un juego, los generales y comandantes a cargo del desarrollo armamentístico de cada país compiten para ver quién es capaz de crear el dispositivo de destrucción masiva más grande. Este rasgo, posiblemente grabado a fuego en nuestros genes desde la época de las cavernas, ha llegado a extremos casi ridículos a lo largo de las décadas posteriores a la Segunda Guerra Mundial, una época conocida como la Guerra Fría. A lo largo de ese periodo, tanto los Estados Unidos como la ex-Unión Soviética se embarcaron en una demencial carrera destinada a mostrar al mundo que “mis bombas nucleares son más grandes que las tuyas” o “nosotros podemos hacerlos puré de una forma más eficiente que ustedes”. Si no fuese porque es la terrible realidad, hasta podría resultar gracioso.

Lo cierto es que al final del segundo conflicto bélico más grande de la historia parecía que los Estados Unidos era la potencia más importante del planeta. En su “currículo” figuraba haberse cargado dos ciudades enteras utilizando solo dos bombas en el proceso, algo de lo que ninguna otra nación podía -ni puede- jactarse. El gobierno ruso, por su parte, necesitaba demostrar que también estaba en condiciones de -si se lo proponía- destruir a sus enemigos utilizando la tecnología nuclear. Ambos países, bastante antes de que a alguien se le ocurriese que era una locura y propusiera firmar alguna clase de acuerdo que limitara los ensayos de armas nucleares sobre el planeta, se dedicaron alegremente a hacer detonar bombas atómicas sobre atolones, islas, desiertos y océanos, para demostrarle al otro que sus juguetes eran mucho más bonitos. Luego de algunos años de investigación, los físicos de ambos países sabían cómo hacer bombas de prácticamente cualquier potencia. La única barrera parecía ser el dinero disponible y -por supuesto- la estupidez humana.

El artefacto más grande que se llegó a poner a prueba fue ruso. La denominada “Bomba del Zar” fue detonada el 30 de octubre de 1961 a cuatro mil metros de altura, como demostración del poderío soviético. Recordemos que en esa época la propaganda política era fundamental. Se eligió como lugar para el ensayo un archipiélago situado en el Océano Ártico cuyo nombre seguramente no conoces (“ Nueva Zembla”) y se transportó la bomba a bordo de un bombardero Tupolev Tu-95 modificado. El artefacto medía unos ocho metros de largo y dos de diámetro, y pesaba alrededor de 27,000 kilogramos. Solamente el paracaídas destinado a frenar su descenso pesaba 800 kilogramos.

Durante su desarrollo recibió el nombre clave de “Iván”, y desde el principio fue concebida como un arma para intimidar. Su enorme tamaño la hacia prácticamente inútil en una guerra real, y no se construyó más que un ejemplar. Cuando fue detonada, generó una bola de fuego de unos 4,600 metros de diámetro, que alcanzó el suelo y rápidamente ascendió hasta la altitud de vuelo del bombardero que la había lanzado. Para ese entonces, el avión se encontraba a unos (relativamente) seguros 45 kilómetros de distancia. Los físicos que desarrollaron la bomba no tenían una idea exacta de su poder, así que por su acaso repintaron el bombardero con una pintura especial, blanca y altamente reflectante, para minimizar los efectos de la onda de choque térmica posterior a la explosión. El destello de la detonación pudo verse desde unos de 1000 km, y el hongo atómico alcanzó la magnetosfera, a una altitud de 64 kilómetros.

La explosión fue lo suficientemente intensa como para provocar quemaduras de tercer grado en personas que se encontraban a más de 100 kilómetros del punto de la detonación, y se produjeron daños y roturas de vidrios hasta a 1000 kilómetros del epicentro de la explosión. La temperatura en la zona que se encontraba debajo de la bomba se elevó casi instantáneamente hasta alcanzar el millón de grados. La presión atmosférica llego a los 211.000 kilos por metro cuadrado, más de treinta veces la que hay en el interior de los neumáticos de tu automóvil. La onda de choque, además de derribar casi todo lo que encontró a su paso en un radio de decenas de kilómetros, fue registrada dando la vuelta al mundo tres veces. La potencia liberada fue de 1.38% de la energía que proporciona el Sol.

A pesar de todo esto, no hubo una gran emisión de sustancias radioactivas. El diseño de la bomba había sido meticulosamente pensado para fuese “limpia”. En efecto, se reemplazó una de sus piezas -tradicionalmente construidas en uranio- por una de plomo, un material capaz de absorber la mayor parte de los neutrones rápidos procedentes de la fisión inicial, reduciendo su intensidad. El 97% de la energía generada provino de la fusión en lugar de la fisión. Si no se hubiese reemplazado el Uranio, hubiese liberado una cantidad de radiación equivalente al 25% de toda la emitida en la historia del hombre. El tamaño y peso de la Zar limitaba su alcance y la velocidad a la que se la podía enviar a otra región del planeta. Sus 27 toneladas de peso la hacían absolutamente inviable para lanzarla mediante un misil balístico intercontinental, y gran parte de su potencia era radiada de forma ineficiente hacia el espacio. Por todo esto, la Bomba del Zar nunca se construyó en serie. Afortunadamente.

Sí, es un barco. A pesar de su forma rara. Lo han bautizado como U.S.S. Independence y es uno de los barcos de guerra de nueva generación de la Marina de los Estados Unidos. Es un trimarán, un barco con tres cascos, que le confieren unas cualidades para el combate que superan a cualquier otro barco de guerra construído hasta ahora. Aunque a simple vista lo que llama la atención es su peculiar diseño. Lo ha construido General Dynamics y es lo que se denomina, un “buque de guerra de litoral“, ya que es ahí, cerca de la costa, en donde está llamado a desempeñar todo su potencial. Aunque a nosotros nos encantaría que se quedara quieto toda su vida para la foto. O que, como mucho, sólo saliera a pescar peces.

Puede funcionar como base para el despegue y el aterrizaje de helicópteros, para transportar vehículos blindados, barrer minas y tiene capacidad para disparar todo tipo de misiles y torpedos. Son como una especie de portaaviones pero para helicópteros, ya que son más pequeños.

De su menor tamaño y de su estructura, se deriva el que tenga la velocidad de movimiento y la facilidad de maniobra de la que presume. En concreto, puede llegar a alcanzar los 60 nudos. Si estás pensando en hacerte con uno de estos barquitos para ir a trabajar todas las mañana, vete preparando 208 millones de dólares, que son unos 135 millones de euros. Esa es la módica cantidad que se gasta el Ejército con cada uno de estos tanques acuáticos.

Ya hemos visto que la tecnología también es muy importante para las batallas. Por eso hay quien trabaja en pequeños robots espía como los que tienen forma de insecto o los que aparentan ser un murciélago. Además, incluso los hay que son capaces de crear redes Wi-Fi para permitir la comunicación de los ejércitos. En nuestra opinión, aquellos a los que les gusta la guerra, deberían comprarse un buen simulador de aviones con triple pantalla y disfrutar lanzando bombas en los videojuegos.

Parce, excelente la información, pero eso de "tres cascos" no creo que este bien dicho, ya que el casco de la embarcación es uno solo. Se llama trimaran por que tiene 3 quillas.

Además, su diseño es con el objetivo de hacerlo "invisible" al radar, ya que sus formas angulares desvian las radiaciones de los radares enemigos, logrando que el reflejo o "eco radar" que da la estructura de la embarcación, se confunda con embarcaciones mucho mas pequeñas o incluso, con las olas del mar.
