This is the fourth edition of the Global Peace Index (GPI).
It has been expanded to rank 149 independent states and
updated with the latest-available fi gures and information
for 2008-09. The index is composed of 23 qualitative and
quantitative indicators from respected sources, which combine
internal and external factors ranging from a nation’s level of
military expenditure to its relations with neighbouring countries
and the level of respect for human rights. These indicators were
selected by an international panel of academics, business people,
philanthropists and members of peace institutions.

ENTONCES.....HAY QUE CORREJIR EL TITULO DEL TOPIC Y PONER " LOS PAISESE MAS VIOLENTOS ENTRE EL 2008 Y EL 2009"

A MI ME PARECE MUY VACANO QUE LA GENTE APORTE...PERO TAMBIEN SERIA BUENO QUE SE DOCUEMNTEN MAS....QUE NO SOLO SEA ALGO DE "COPY AND PÁSTE" POR EJEMPLO..TAMBIEN APARECE ESTA TABLA DE "número de conflictos internos y externos" EN LA CUAL APARECEMOS DE 80 S...ENTONCES..QUE PUEDO DECIR DE ESTE RANKING......QUE NO ES MUY CREIBLE QUE DIGAMOS...YA EMPEZARA TODO EL MUNDO Y SU ADORADA IZQUIERDA A HABLAR DEL GOBIERNO DE URIBE, DEL GOBIERNO DE SANTOS..PERO...QUE HACE ESTA GENTE POR EL PAIS????..AQUI MUCHOS HABLAN Y HABLAN....PERO CON RAJAR MAL DEL PAIS...NO SE GANA NADA.....
