Symone Greene a 22 year old Washington DC substitute teacher has been charged with first degree sexual abuse of a minor after allegedly having had sexual liaisons with a 17 year old football student at Options Public Charter School.
The incident is said to have taken place in a classroom on October 17th, the teacher’s first day on the job.
According to an arrest warrant the student told that he met Symone Greene on the first day at school and gave her his cell phone number.
Shortly there after the student received a text from the substitute teacher who in turn responded ‘if she was kinky?’
The sub teacher who at the time was teaching English allegedly responded: ‘I don’t tell, I show,’
The sex attack allegedly occurred in Greene’s classroom where the student recorded the oral sex, without Greene’s knowledge.
Greene then allegedly sent the teen a text message over the weekend asking him not to tell anyone ‘because it is not right for a student and teacher to have a relationship.’
A detective had the student continue to text the teacher, where the pair exchanged two dozen messages over the weekend.
‘When u trying to see me again?’ the student asked, according to excerpts in a court affidavit. Police said the teacher responded: ‘Oo. U gona get me in trouble. Chill. We gotta be slick with it.’
At another point, police said, Greene told the student: ‘Tru but u don’t just be having sex with just anybody but I cant doe my body is taken for my boyfriend.’
Symone Greene also allegedly sent a clothed picture of herself to the student, reports WUSA.
Told Shannon Hodge, the school’s executive director: ‘When school administrators learned of the incident Monday morning, we immediately contacted the Child and Family Services Agency, the Metropolitan Police Department, and the parent of the student,’
Hodge said Greene was contracted through a company based in Delaware and had never worked at the school before.
Interestingly the school principal has told that they will not be re hiring the teacher again. Can anyone guess why…?
